Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows.

YAY! That’s pretty much all I can say. I remember the first time I read a Harry Potter book was for “SSR” in high school. I felt sort of silly for reading it, but after I got further into the book, the rest of the world didn’t matter. Sad enough. The book series is intensely a great read and I have used it as if I were escaping into a fantasy world. I breezed through the books and attended all the parties. When the movies started, we always got a midnight showing.

The last book is finally going to be making it to the theater, and I can say I still feel that I am unable to feel embarrassed for making it to the movies just to see it. I even got my hubs to watch it, and he was pretty impressed although he’s not much of a sci-fi, fantasy buff like me. I would dress up for the movie, but that’s actually where I draw the line. I’m obsessed on the inside. πŸ™‚

Part I is coming out on November 19, and just seeing the trailer makes my heart pound. I remember when this book came. I walked all the way to the mailbox (ours was in the middle of the “colony” instead of in front of the house) and almost ran home just to get started on it. I had pre-ordered it from Amazon, so it made its way to my house at the same time it made it out into bookstores. I was beyond thrilled. I told my Mom not to disturb me, and read for 8 hours straight without any breaks. At the end, I cried, not because of the end or the story or anything, but because it was indefinitely over. But, then I realized the movies still had yet to come. But, there are 2 left. They are making 2 parts to the movie, and it makes me sad that after next year, the movies, books will just become history. *Sigh*

Regardless, I must thank J.K. Rowling for giving me the best decade and more for such a lovely childhood memory!

On that note, here’s the TRAILER. Enjoy, I did! πŸ˜€
