If you’ve ever stood in the pharmacy feeling overwhelmed by the sheer choice of facial cleansers and wondered to yourself, “what the heck do we need all these facial cleansers for?”, you are not alone. It can be really overwhelming to decide which facial cleanser is right for you, especially since almost no one on the planet has “normal” skin. What the heck is even normal skin anyway? Geez, why would they even have that as an option. It makes the rest of us feel bad when we reach for the super oily, super dry, super super oily, cleaners. The point is that they’re really is a facial cleanser for everyone. It just make take some research to find out which one is right for you and your skin.

It’s been a long time since having a newborn baby in the house since my oldest child, a son, is 5 1/2. With an almost 2-week old newborn and Father’s Day coming, the VTech VM981 Expandable HD Video Baby Monitor with 1 Wi-Fi Camera, 5” Touch Screen from Amazon.com was an excellent addition to our baby gear, especially for my husband. When rounding up baby gear for our newborn daughter, we had to start all over. What this meant to me – LOTS of PINK, headbands, and girly clothes, blankets, and more! And, since Daddy will be spending lots of time with his daughter during his paternal leave, inspiration struck for a DIY no-sew blanket for them to cuddle in when he wasn’t already watching her adoringly on the VTech VM981 Expandable Video Monitor.
When it comes to liquid lipsticks, my favorite thing to do is TRY them out. Jordana has an amazing line-up of Sweet Cream Matte Liquid Lipsticks, which you can see HERE and HERE. Cinnamon Toast was one that I tried to find for WEEKS before I got my hands on it, and after you see it, you’ll completely understand why this shade was always sold out.
Baby girl arrived May 22nd, so please be patient with me and my slow posting as I readjust to life with a newborn (as it’s been almost 6 years since my last one!) and I hope you continue to visit Taneja’s Bride during this (hopefully) short hiatus! Thanks again for visiting!! I truly appreciate each and every one of you!
With Summer here, bright colors are SO very in! I adore teal in ANYTHING and EVERYTHING, so when I saw this gorgeous teal maxi dress at PinkBlush, I had to have it! As a shorty, I often feel that dresses of this height make me look even shorter, but this one made me feel pretty confident once I fixed the hem (using safety pins ONLY) to fit me perfectly. My son’s school had a Mother’s Day Tea, and this dress was exceptionally high tea material, so I decided to wear it! I’m so glad I did – I was extremely comfortable draped in chiffon on a cool, summer day, and the floral print was quite maternal, as well. I even had the PERFECT statement necklace to match not to mention the PERFECT lipstick – Give Me Glow Rose Petal!
