When families cook together, something magical happens. Not only are you enjoying quality time, but a beautiful and delicious dish comes out of it, as well! My son (who will be 5 in 2 days – cannot believe it!) LOVES helping in the kitchen, and I encourage it because there’s so much bonding that happens when you put together breakfast, lunch, or dinner as a family. Ben’s Beginners was created to inspire children to cook in the kitchen to help them understand what they’re putting into their bodies to get them healthier. Not only that, it stimulates children to eat their own creation because they feel a sense of pride and achievement when they see the completed dish as their meal. Uncle Ben’s Ready Rice makes meal time preparation simple and delicious, and it’s my ingredient of choice in my creamy rice casserole.

One of my family’s favorite food is rice. We eat it sparingly, but if it were up to our taste and style, we’d have rice for every meal. One of our favorite dishes is a creamy rice casserole reminiscent of the popular Thanksgiving dish of green bean casserole. Not only is it a hit in our household, it is filling and easy to create, which makes it the perfect dish to make together as a family!

Walmart happens to be one of my favorite places to shop because I can find just about anything I need right when I’m looking for it. Since my family enjoys eating meals that are enjoyable (and easy) to create together, a key ingredient happens to be Uncle Ben’s Ready Rice in all different flavors. This brings us to the rice and beans aisle where you can find Uncle Ben’s Ready Rice, which is ready in 90 seconds or Uncle Ben’s Boil in Bag Rice.

Currently, you can save $0.75 on Ready Rice products exclusively at Walmart.
