Shark Week. Aunt Flo. The Red Dot Special. When it comes to the “Time of the Month”, discretion is the name of the game. U by Kotex® and Walmart know that it’s important to feel utter comfort and that leak protection isn’t the ONLY thing a woman looks for in a feminine care product. U by Kotex® introduces the Style N’ Store packs with 4 stylish designs that are not only inconspicuous but have a functional drawer feature for easy and organized storage. When you know #WhatMatterstoU, you can make your “Time of the Month” a more confident and enjoyable time for you!

Pastel PerfectDessert Ideas! (1)

During my Shark Week, I desire not only complete protection from any leaks but my sweet tooth rears its head! I have made it a habit to remain fully active during the uncomfortable period because it does relieve my aches and pains.

I also do doll myself up as much as possible to distract from the discomfort. I have always noticed that whenever I wear a fun, bold lipstick, my mood goes from blah to hurrah in 60 seconds!

But coming back to the sweet tooth, I have also learned to splurge on the dessert of my choice during this time because a pick-me-up is what matters to me!

My favorite treat is a sophisticated twist on a childhood favorite, dirt cup! This treat is chockfull of chocolate goodness! Instead of the chocolate pudding base, I take indulging seriously and make my own chocolate cheesecake base and it’s so easy to make that you’ll be craving this – Shark Week or not! (Recipe card enclosed at the bottom of the post with a full list of ingredients)

Step 1: Starting with room temperature cream cheese or microwaving refrigerated cream cheese for 1 minute, whip until smooth.

2

Step 2: Add chocolate chips of your choice (I choose dark because not only is it delicious but it is not that bad for you!) and let it melt into the warmed up cream cheese.

Step 3: This step is fully optional. You can add 1/2 cup of sugar or not. You can also add some vanilla extract. I opt out of these because I like the taste the chocolate chips give to the cream cheese.

Step 4: Spoon the mixture into either a jar or a container of your choice.

5

Step 5: Once you reach the brim of your container, “plant” a gummy worm into the cheesecake batter.

7

Step 6: Top off with crushed sandwich cookies.
