Beat the Winter Blues with FragranceNet.com

Here in the Pacific Northwest, Fall/Autumn is in FULL swing. Leaves in different hues are covering the ground, and it’s gorgeous! I am a HUGE fan of the Fall/Autumn season, but that’s mainly because my birthday falls in the season, but that doesn’t stop me from prepping for the Winter, for Winter is coming! (That never gets old!)

Items I love to have on hand during the Winter are Body ScrubLip BalmBody Wash, and Body Oil.

So, these are the items I chose from FragranceNet.com to accompany me through the Winter season!
Prada Candy Body Scrub
Clarins Body Treatment Oil – Relax
Perlier Candy Cane Shower Cream
Dermalogica Age Smart Renewal Lip Complex

Let’s start with the Prada Candy Body Scrub. Yes, this is as luxurious as it sounds, being from Prada and all. This is a gorgeous scent, described as “delicious note of caramel and an alluring accent of musk”, and I find myself sniffing my arms hours after my shower because the scent does last long after you’ve come out of the shower. The texture of Prada Candy is much like stiff refrigerated frosting (yes, you know what I mean!) and it also has a very subtle (not harsh at all where you feel like you’ve scraped your skin off) scrub, but it does the job of exfoliation and does leave you feeling smooth afterwards, which I find a MUST during the cold Wintry months.

A body oil is another must for me during the Winter months because my skin gets super dry from the lack of humidity in the air. I actually use body oil year-round because my skin thirsts for moisture all the time, especially after a bath/shower. Clarins Body Treatment Oil – Relax is a great oil to use because it soaks into your skin leaving you feeling moisturized without feeling greasy. Also, the scent is definitely relaxing, as it is a lavender herbal scent. It is also made from 100% pure plant extracts and aromatic oils. I use this on my son after his evening bath/shower to relax his muscles after a long day of frolic, and it gets him to sleep through the night. Does the same for me, as well! I highly recommend getting this oil if you have little ones (with no allergies, of course)!

Who said you have to eat candy to enjoy it?! Perlier Candy Cane Shower Cream is a candy cane scented body wash, which is definitely has a texture of lotion. The scent is definitely peppermint and is so delicious and real! It is a real treat to use this in the shower because it smells THAT good! Definitely wakes up your senses and gets you ready for the Holidays! The scent doesn’t last much after the shower, so if that’s what you’re looking forward to – smelling like candy canes throughout the day – then sorry to burst your bubble!

And, finally, lips are most prone to dryness during those frosty days/nights. To the rescue comes Dermalogica Age Smart Renewal Lip Complex, which definitely “restores delicate tissue & minimizes contour lines to defy aging signs”. It contains “avocado oil, shea butter & cocoa seed butter” to give a comfortable feel on the lips without feeling heavy and waxy.
