Matte lipsticks may be what my heart desires, but sometimes, a nice pigmented, glossy lip with a beautiful, matte eyeliner really tickles the fancy! butter London Bloody Brilliant Lip Crayons are just that – pigmented, glossy, and comfortable! Starting off with the Bloody Brilliant Lip Crayons, I received the two shades to try:

What’s really interesting about these Lip Crayons are that they have a sharpener attached to them instead of a twist-up.

Ladybird is a gorgeous tomato red with a hint of orange. It’s definitely a stand-out shade!

Toff is described as a red grape creme. This shade is more marsala to me.

When it comes to eyeliners for my top lid, I definitely require a liquid eyeliner with a matte finish and the ability to wing without error.

butter London sent me the two matte liquid eyeliners:
– Brown Sugar Matte Liquid Eyeliners
– British Racing Green Matte Liquid Eyeliners

You can see them applied on me in the above photos where I applied Brown Sugar from the inner corner of my eyelid and then British Racing Green from the middle to the ends.

I was indeed impressed by the pigmentation of the lip crayon and the last, and they do not bleed as you would expect from a glossy finish. But, a lip liner could indeed be used. The eyeliners have quickly become my favorite, as you can see they move effortlessly, matte, and they don’t bleed. Definitely a liquid liner I would buy again!

  1. I adore Ladybird and Toff, but then I love each and every one of the Lip Crayons! I have tried the matte liquid liners yet, but the Wink Union Jack Eyeliner Pencil is my favorite pencil eyeliner. I would love to try the teal one for sure!
