ColourPop Cosmetics Lippie Stix + Pencil Haul Photos, Swatches, and Review

You may have been seeing ColourPop ALL over the internet because:
1) Beautiful colors
2) $5/pop

Hence, ColourPop will make you empty your wallet at the drop of a hat. I almost did, but had to control myself, but still managed to grab 10 Lippie Stix + Pencils.

The packaging is adorable, and the handwritten note is icing on the beautiful cake.

The pencils and Lippie Stix are white and gorgeous. The holographic text is just gorgeous. AND, you can see the colors on the bottom. They are pretty accurate, too.

As you can see, the ColourPop Lippie Stix have thin, slanted tips that make it easier to line and apply.

I love the way the pencil’s applicator is. The only thing is that you must sharpen these, and after lining and filling makes this pencil need sharpening. The other downfall is that after applying, the lip color will get all over the pencil, but that can be solved using a makeup remover wipe.

Let’s take a look at the shades.

  5. I really want to get some stuff from them. I saw their recent bundle and I want it so bad!

  6. Gorgeous colors! I think I might need to try this! 🙂 Thanks for sharing!

  7. These are beautiful colours but I love the ‘wine’ colours more that the rest, do they deliver to the UK?

  8. Those are beautiful lip colors. And they are great prices!!

  9. I have never heard of ColourPop before! Those colors are gorgeous and inexpensive makeup is my weakness! Thank you for sharing i definitely need to check these out!

  10. Never heard of this brand/company before. Looks like fun.

  11. Not sure I like the formula of these – they look like they accentuate all the dry spots!

    • The lip pencils do. The lipsticks are really nice! 🙂

    • In order for the lip colors and pencils to go on smoothly you should always use a lip scrub to exfoliate your lips and Moisturize before applying your lip color. I own feminist and creature which are very dark and matte and they do not look dry on my lips at all and they are actually very comfortable to wear and look amazing. I usually buy high end vegan lipsticks and I love these!!!

      • Appreciate that, Luna. I did find the pencils to be dry and I exfoliate and moisturize my lips everyday. You will see my lip swatches do not always look this dry. This could be during a cold or after applying dozen lipsticks. But, overall, I did find them a little more drying.

  12. I like the application method for the Lippie Stix, it is easier for me to get it on more correctly than a regular stick!

  13. These are so fun! I love the purples, but I don’t know if I’m brave enough to wear them. 🙂

  14. I love the colors, especially the red plum wine.

  15. I am in need for some new nude lip shades!

  16. Ooo! I love the reds! And the packing is too cute! Handwritten notes when buying products are always so awesome! It helps to create more of a connection with the customer.

  17. You really need to exfoliate your lips! I actually cringed at those swatches. Your flaky/dry lips make the lippie stix formula look awful. Maybe try the elf lip exfoliating product? It comes in a lipstick-like tube, is not too expensive, and I’ve heard it does a good job.
