Lorac afterGLO Eye Shadow Palette Photos, Swatches, and Review

I have a LOT of eyeshadow palettes, but a lot of them don’t see the light of day. So, I’ve been bringing them out more AND experimenting with colors, so of course, I decided to start with a new palette I had my sights on. This palette is one of the two palettes Lorac has put out for Summer 2014. I decided to pick this one up at Ulta when I was there for some more dry shampoo. The palette consists of 10 mattes and shimmers, and it’s so gorgeous and versatile!!

The 10 eyeshadows are housed in a glossy teal casing with gold border and lettering.

The pigmentation is pretty good (and I would recommend using a primer or even using them wet), but above you are seeing them on direct skin. I loved the teals (first two) and the gold (third one) and the bottom right neutral shade, and decided to do an eye look with that one first. The only matte shades are the “book ends” the 1st and last one on the top. The rest are shimmery in some aspect.

Here are a few pictures of the eye look created with the colors I mentioned, Benefit They’re Real Mascara, and Milani Ultrafine Liquid Eye Liner in Emerald Glisten.

And, I wore it with my LIPSTICK CRUSH OF THE WEEK: Milani Uptown Mauve, a very sexy deep purple-toned fuchsia. It wears so beautifully and applies practically by itself and stains your lips a soft raspberry.

And, I paired it off with Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush in Something About Berry.

What do you think about this palette? Will you be running off to Ulta to buy one?
