When I got word that Jay and Andrea of Red Apple Lipstick were coming into MY city for the Gluten & Allergen Free Expo, I was really excited to actually put a face to their name AND brand AND get a chance to “swatch” a bunch of lipsticks to see what I wanted and HAUL (which I did!). Jay and Andrea are THE SWEETEST and it was amazing to meet them! I also met fellow blogger/youtuber, SecondhandSweetness7 and we had SUCH a fun time selecting eyeshadows for me to haul! I spent over an hour and a half at their booth “shopping and chatting” and it was SO MUCH FUN! I mean, what’s better? So, are you ready to see what I hauled at the booth?!
Soooo, I picked up 2 eye brushes, an Exfoliate Stick, a lipstick AND 2 eyeshadows.
When I arrived at the Red Apple Lipstick booth, my fingers went straight for the brushes. I LOVE makeup brushes and I had been dying to feel the bristles. SO.SUPER.SOFT. I was immediately filled with desire to haul them, and before I left – I did. Nothing less than perfect with these brushes!
The Wet and Dry Eye Shadow Brush is made of synthetic bristles. This gave me a LOT of control over the application of my eyeshadow and it worked wonderfully!

Another product I’ve been eyeing from Red Apple Lipstick is the Exfoliate Stick. Now, this is GENIUS. I’m so sick of using “lip scrubs” and then having all this “gunk” on my finger and the oily residue left over. THIS nixes all of that. It LOOKS and ACTS like a lipstick except has the “scrub” in the bullet. It was super easy to use. Just scrub on and wipe off. And, use your favorite lip balm and go on with your day/night! Check it out:
I couldn’t leave the booth without grabbing a lipstick! I chose Crush on Me, a sweet lavender-toned pink – the epitome of Radiant Orchid!
Next, I chose two stunning eyeshadows. After trying KAZILLION, I only hauled 2 but I’m eyeing a LOT of other eyeshadows. I cannot believe how unbelievably buttery and pigmented these are!! I chose Violet Vixen, a soft lavender and Siren, a gorgeous teal.
And, the final look:
And, some pictures from the event!
And, as always, follow the links for more information and to SHOP! And, also keep your eyes peeled for the Summer 2014 Collection – it looks amazing from what I’ve seen myself on Facebook AND I named one of the eyeshadows: Beachy Keen! 😉
