OPI Holland Collection Spring-Summer 2012 Swatches/Review

Currently, I have 4 of the Holland polishes, and I’m looking into getting more eventually, but I figured I’d show you what I have and later on link what I get. I’ve already reviewed Gouda Gouda Two Shoes (but the swatch is better now as compared to then) and I Have a Herring Problem (swatch better now, again). I also purchased Roll in the Hague (which I’ve realllllly wanted!) and Pedal Faster Suzi (which I’ve been eyeing at Ulta, but finally got the courage to get it!)

So, let’s be brief as the first two already have reviews, and my mind is pretty set about them.

I did 3 coats of Gouda Gouda Two Shoes, and it’s a color that is classic and vintage. I was only disappointed that the shimmer I saw in the bottle did not translate onto the nail (very slight shimmer seen). Still pretty.

I Have a Herring Problem is 3 coats, slightly sheer and runny. Be careful as it can pool around the cuticles and drag. I love that it looks like liquid denim. Gorgeous.

Roll in the Hague is a bright orange, and I can see why I have been wanting this one. It’s so beautiful! This is only 2 coats because it’s highly pigmented. Beware, though, that this *CAN* stain, so double up on base coat.

Pedal Faster Suzi is a sweet baby pink with the same exact finish as I Have a Herring Problem. Maybe, this is why I fell in love with it. Also, reminds me of Zoya Gei Gei. I’ll show you a comparison after the swatch of Pedal Faster Suzi.

Pretty close! I would say they are dupes. The only difference is that Gei Gei (on the right) has 2 coats, but at one more coat, it would look just like Pedal Faster Suzi! I prefer Pedal Faster Suzi because it looks a little more flawless and brighter.

* All purchased by me except Zoya Gei Gei  *
