September Bloom Box: Dermaheal Shampoo + Lea Journo Hair Masque

The September Bloom box is quite the box this month for the Bloom Ambassadors, so I’m going to be doing small segments to complete the entire box, so please bear with me. I have today the Dermaheal Shampoo and the Lea Journo Parfait Intense Hydrating Masque.

I know I’m a little out of order, but I want to start with the Lea Journo Hair Masque since it is how I started! It says to apply to clean, towel-dried hair, and I felt that it was asking me too much, so I went ahead and wet my hair in a sink, and applied the mask, which is like a creamy lotion texture. After 2 – 5 minutes, you rinse it out, but I just went ahead and washed my hair with the Dermaheal shampoo. Boy, did my hair feel silky washing the mask out of my hair. Unbelievably soft and silky! I loved how that felt. I will definitely be doing this 2x a week, as recommended! Also, I love the packaging. I am a sucker for mirror lids, as weird as that sounds.

Next, I used the Dermaheal Shampoo, and it smells incredible. It’s a neutral scent, and that’s great because both my husband and I like to use the same shampoo, so he’s going to be trying it next! I can imagine him loving it because I surely did. Love the packaging because it’s simple, easy to read, and not distracting at all, which is what I want with my shampoo (an in and out) and it is a great feature to have a pump because I always feel that I dispense too much when it’s up to me. This dispensed the RIGHT amount for me. It felt clean and my scalp felt supple and moisturized. I love that because I get a dry scalp and hate missing a day of shampooing!

Here’s a before (hair that has been washed, brushed and blow-dried but not straightened):
